happy Canada day everyone.

 

   I know its a bit early, but its Canada day here and its going to rock tonight.  we organized a bit of a brawl at the local pub, we were supposed to get some Canadian and some kokanee shipped in but the owner at the pub is a bit of a bullshitter and didn't pull through, but nothing stops us Canadians and I made up a shirt and will be wearing my Canadian pooniwear out and have a wicked time anyways.  

 I didn't end up getting the job up in the mountain as id hoped, but thanks to my tax return from home I managed to get a season pass and I got myself a night time job waitering at a Turkish restaurant in town.   my boss is from Vernon and she's pretty cool and really easy going, I showed up about 1/2 hour late yesterday and she didn't even notice... haha...ooops.  

 I've been riding quite a few times already, me and my aussie buddies hiked up the first couple days and rode some rails and made some jumps and stuff, and now that we got our passes we have been taking the chair lifts up.. a bit of a luxury...haha.   the snow here is alright, its been snowing a fair bit but the warm weather in the day melts a fair share of it.  my 2 aussie buddies here got to see snow fall for the first time last Sunday, man they were so stoked, prob more than I was.....can you believe that.    Emma is treating me really good and I got myself some new boots which are coming in really nicely, everything is good up here and I hope you people in wl, enjoyed the good old stampede and have a toast for me when you do your Canada celebrations... cheers everyone and talk to you soon...
